Sap
Calculations are now available online. If you are a property developer
or New Home builder you can now obtain an Energy Certificate fast using
a simple online form. SAP -
Standard Assessment Procedure is an energy assessment method which has
been developed to calculate energy ratings for New Build Property.
Typically a SAP Assessor would be contracted to calculate energy ratings
for new homes. New housing developments require an EPC (Energy
Performance Certificate) before a building certificate is issued.
SAP energy ratings are applied to New Build Homes and New Build Extensions
to existing homes. You can now obtain a SAP Energy Certificate online - please
refer to SAP Calculations.

SAP
Ratings can be calculated usually by submitting the relevant
information to the assessor by submitting drawing plans, and the
materials used in the construction of the building. Full SAP must
be used to assess the energy ratings of new build property for the
issue of an EPC by an authorised SAP Assessor. A domestic energy
assessor using RdSAP methodology is not authorised to issue an
energy certificate for such buildings.
